Lead engineering for AI products and an enterprise agentic platform, including Q.Checkout AI and agents built with Microsoft Foundry. The work spans agent orchestration, context, APIs, enterprise integrations, security, reliability and observability, with a focus on reusable capabilities that teams can operate in production.

Built AI engineering capability within Commonwealth Bank's venture-building arm, working in an environment where new ideas had to be tested and delivered quickly.

Served as principal engineer for AskTelstra, a production GenAI and RAG application built on Azure with Microsoft ISE. Designed reusable orchestration, retrieval and evaluation components, including measurement of answer quality, retrieval effectiveness and hallucination risk. Architecture improvements made AI queries five times faster.
Established DevSecOps practices for secure and supportable AI services, reduced deployment cycles by 40 percent through CI/CD improvements and migrated more than 30 services from Apigee to Telstra's internal API gateway with zero downtime.

Led multiple engineering squads supporting SWIFT and ISO 20022 payment systems in a regulated banking environment where security, operational risk and delivery quality were critical. Also owned mentoring, workforce planning and engineering capability across the squads.

Led and developed more than 15 engineers across Australia and India while remaining close to architecture and code. Set practical standards for code quality, testing, security and observability across multiple squads.

Modernised prepaid recharge and payment platforms using microservices on cloud platforms, supporting more than 1.5 million transactions each day. Integrated Braintree payments, increased automated test coverage beyond 90 percent across more than 10 services, and led production monitoring and incident response using Splunk and New Relic.

Built Java telecommunications platforms and SMS delivery modules used by operators including Vodafone and Airtel. Delivered recommender system integrations and supported production deployments for telecommunications customers.
